The
Chicago Blues Festival will celebrate its 30th Anniversary
with
a “Rolling Up The River” theme (from Mississippi &
Louisiana,
to Memphis & St. Louis and last stop in Chicago)
and
an extra fourth night of free shows!
Tributes to Pinetop
Perkins and Delmark Records’ 60th Anniversary are also
planned.
The fest will run four consecutive nights, June 6-9,
and
three full days June 7-9. The music starts each day
(except
Thursday) at 11:15 a.m. and goes until 9:30 p.m. As
always,
admission is FREE.
