Congratulations to Windy City Blues Society Challenge winners Liz Mandeville & Donna Herula (solo/duo category) and to Pistol Pete (band). They are headed to Memphis in late January to compete in the International Blues Challenge (IBC) against over 100 bands from around the world.

To help pay for the winners’ expenses to perform at this prestigious event, a “pass the hat” fundraiser will be held January 13 at the Harlem Avenue Lounge in Berwyn, IL. Showtime is 9 p.m. with two sets by each band.
